As we navigate the future of our platform with a strategic and sustainable approach, we've outlined a series of goals designed to foster growth, enhance community engagement, and ensure the platform's long-term viability. Here's how we plan to evolve, step by step:

 

First Goal: Establishing Our Creative Community

Requirement: Our initial aim is to welcome 10 creators and achieve a distribution of 500+ items monthly. This foundational step is critical for establishing a diverse and engaging content library.

Upon Achievement: In recognition of reaching this milestone, we will reduce our sales commission by 5% across the board. This is our way of saying thanks and encouraging further high-quality contributions.

 

Second Goal: Enhancing User and Creator Engagement

Requirements: With our foundation set, the next target involves growing to 50 creators. This growth will indicate a robust, active community.

Unlockable Features:

  • Commissions for Sellers: By launching this feature, creators can directly engage with commissioned projects, strengthening community bonds and exploring additional revenue channels. Distinct from common practices, our platform will take a modest cut of 15% on commissions, thereby offering creators a more advantageous rate than the typical 20% seen on many other platforms. 

  • Website Performance Enhancements: With the achievement of our second goal, we'll invest in our platform's infrastructure to enhance speed, reliability, and user experience, ensuring we can scale smoothly and efficiently.

 

Third Goal: Enhancing Creator Support and Engagement

Requirements: Our revised third goal focuses on deepening the support and engagement within our community. To unlock the next tier of features, we aim to grow our platform to include 100 active creators.

Unlockable Features:

  • Commissions for Sellers Update: We've reduced our commission rate from 15% to 10% for direct commissions, doubling the benefit for creators compared to many other platforms.

  • Direct Coffee Support: Excited to launch Direct Coffee Support, a feature that lets the community directly support creators, strengthening connections and fostering a culture of patronage.

  • Memberships for Sellers: Rolling out Memberships for Sellers, similar to a Patreon model with only 5% cut, allowing creators to offer exclusive content and perks through subscriptions, helping them build a dedicated fanbase.

 

Fourth Goal: Kickstarter Campaign Integration

Requirements: Moving forward, our fourth goal aims to introduce Kickstarter Campaign Integration, once we have 200 active creators. This milestone will showcase our community's readiness to support and fund significant creative endeavors.

Unlockable Feature:

  • Kickstarter Campaign Tools: This feature equips creators with essential tools to launch and manage Kickstarter campaigns, directly engaging our community's support for their ambitious projects.

 

A Note on Platform Cuts and Transparency:

Here's a brief overview of what we achieve together as we reach these goals:

  • 15% on Sales: Our cut remains at a competitive 15% offering a favorable rate compared to major marketplaces. (Half of DriveThruRPG)

  • 10% on Commissions: Reduced to 10% for direct commissions after the 3rd goal, offering a greater advantage to our creators compared to major freelance websites. (Half of Fiverr)

  • 5% on Kickstarters & Memberships: For successful Kickstarter campaigns and Creator Memberships facilitated through our platform, we will apply a modest 5% cut. (Minimum Patreon Fee)
